You Don’t Have to Figure This Out Alone

Moving to Germany is exciting, but the process can be overwhelming. Between visa categories, document requirements, appointment scheduling, and conflicting advice on the internet, it’s easy to feel stuck.

We’ve been there. We moved from Pakistan to Germany over a decade ago, and we’ve helped dozens of Pakistanis do the same since then. We know the system from the inside - not from reading about it, but from living through it.

Now you can book a 1-on-1 video call with us and get answers tailored to your specific situation.

What We Can Help With

  • Blue Card applications - Requirements, salary thresholds, document checklist, and common mistakes that delay approvals
  • Visa strategy - Which visa type makes sense for your profile (Blue Card, Job Seeker, student pathway, freelancer visa, Chancenkarte)
  • Document preparation - What to get attested, translated, and apostilled before you leave Pakistan
  • Ausländerbehörde appointments - What to expect, what to bring, and how to handle follow-up requests
  • Family reunification planning - Bringing your spouse and children to Germany, income requirements, and timelines
  • Job search strategy - Where to look, how to tailor your CV for German employers, and what recruiters actually care about
  • Settling in Germany - Anmeldung, bank accounts, health insurance, tax ID, and the first-month chaos

How It Works

  1. Email us at hello@dastkaari.com with a short description of your situation and what you need help with
  2. We’ll reply within 48 hours with available time slots and a payment link
  3. Join the video call at your scheduled time - we use Google Meet or Zoom, whatever works for you
  4. Get a follow-up summary after the call with key action items and any links or resources we mentioned

Each session is €75 per hour. Most people find one session is enough to get clarity on their next steps. If you need more time, you can book additional sessions.

Who This Is For

This service is a good fit if you are:

  • A professional in Pakistan planning to move to Germany and unsure which visa path to take
  • Preparing your Blue Card or other visa application and want someone to review your approach
  • Already in Germany and dealing with Ausländerbehörde issues, residence permit renewals, or family reunification
  • Feeling lost in the process and want to talk to someone who actually went through it as a Pakistani

This is not a good fit if you need a licensed immigration lawyer for complex legal cases, court representation, or asylum proceedings. We are not lawyers. For those situations, you need a Rechtsanwalt für Ausländerrecht.

Why Talk to Us?

  • Berlin-based - We live and work in Germany. This is not theoretical knowledge from a textbook.
  • 10+ years in Germany - We have been through the Pakistan-to-Germany pipeline ourselves, from the first visa appointment at the embassy to permanent residency.
  • Helped dozens of Pakistanis - From software engineers applying for Blue Cards to families planning reunification, we’ve seen a wide range of situations.
  • We speak your language - Literally and figuratively. We understand the Pakistani context, the documents you’re working with, and the questions you’re too embarrassed to ask on forums.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is included in the €75?

A full 60-minute video consultation, plus a written follow-up summary with your action items and relevant links. If our call runs a few minutes over, we won’t cut you off mid-sentence.

Can I book a shorter session?

We find that one hour is the minimum needed to properly understand your situation and give useful advice. We don’t offer 30-minute sessions because they usually feel rushed and leave too many loose ends.

What if I only have a few quick questions?

If your questions are straightforward and don’t require a full consultation, email us at hello@dastkaari.com. We’re happy to point you to the right article or give a brief answer. Not everything needs a paid call.

No. We share our personal experience and practical knowledge from having gone through the immigration process ourselves, and from helping others do the same. We are not licensed immigration lawyers, and nothing we say in a consultation should be treated as legal advice. For legal matters, always consult a qualified Rechtsanwalt.

What’s your refund policy?

If you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled session, we’ll refund you in full. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or don’t show up, we can’t offer a refund since that time slot was reserved for you. If you feel the session wasn’t helpful, reach out to us and we’ll make it right.

What time zones do you work with?

We’re in the CET/CEST time zone (Berlin), but we regularly schedule calls with people in Pakistan (PKT) and other time zones. We’ll find a slot that works for both of us.

What language are the sessions in?

English or Urdu - your choice. We’re comfortable in both.
